Ingredients

1/2 c. maple syrup
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. pecans or walnuts
Preparation

In heavy skillet, stir together syrup, cinnamon, butter and salt.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture becomes brown and starts to thicken.
Add vanilla and the nuts and toss until the nuts are covered.
