Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    5 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream
    butter, shortening and sugar.
    Add
    flour,
    nuts and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Pinch off pieces the size of a marble and roll about finger size.
    Shape into
    crescents.
    Bake
    on ungreased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30
    minutes.
    Do
    not brown.
    Roll in powdered sugar while warm.
