3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened and divided
2 qt. peeled, sliced apples
3/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Butter a shallow baking dish, 9 x 12-inch.
Spread apples and raisins evenly in pan.
