Mom'S Pennsylvania Dutch Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

3 lb. chicken parts
5 to 6 potatoes
5 ribs celery
2 medium onions
salt and pepper to taste
1 lb. pot pie square egg noodles
1 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Cook chicken in enough water to cover until chicken is cooked, about 1 hour.
Remove chicken from bone and cut into small pieces. Return chicken pieces to broth.
Add peeled and quartered potatoes, sliced celery, chopped onions, salt, pepper and egg noodles.
Cook until potatoes and noodles are tender.
Mix flour or cornstarch and milk; add to broth and cook to thicken broth a little.
