Ulana'S Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter, divided
    1 medium onion, sliced
    3 c. cultivated mushrooms, sliced
    1 c. chopped carrots
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. flour
    5 c. chicken stock or water
    4 dried wild mushrooms, soaked overnight (optional)
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sour cream
Preparation
    In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter.
    Saute onion until limp and golden.
    Add mushrooms and continue cooking until they are dark.
    Remove mushroom mixture from skillet and set aside.
    Melt remaining butter in skillet, and add carrots and celery.
    Cook until celery is translucent but still firm. Sprinkle one tablespoon flour over carrots and celery.
    Stir to blend well.
