Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    2 c. white raisins
    4 c. pecans, chopped
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    6 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix first 6 ingredients.
    Add beaten eggs and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Pour batter into 2 brown paper lined and buttered loaf pans. Bake at 250\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
