Fried Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 egg whites
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix sugar, egg whites, shortening and salt together.
    Add flour and buttermilk; mix well and knead until smooth.
    Pinch off into balls and roll out into 6-inch squares.
    Fill and fold into half moon.
    Flute with fork and fry.
