Pineapple Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. all bran cereal
    3/4 c. lightly drained crushed pineapple
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. melted shortening
    granulated sugar
Preparation
    Beat eggs and stir in sugar, buttermilk, bran and pineapple. Let mixture stand for 5 minutes.
    Resift flour with soda, baking powder, and salt.
    Stir dry ingredients into the bran mixture only until all the flour is moistened, adding cooled shortening as you stir.
    Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
