Pecan Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk
    5 eggs
    2 c. flour and 1/2 tsp. more
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. broken pecans, lightly toasted
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
Preparation
    Cream together butter and milk; add eggs one at a time, adding milk after each egg.
    Sift together flour and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Add 1/2 cup toasted pecans to mixture.
    Pour into a greased 9-inch tube pan or loaf pan.
    Sprinkle in the remaining pecans.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
    Check pan doneness after 1 1/4 hours.
    Cool for 5 minutes on each.
    Remove from pan and cool.
