Never-Fail Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 small can evaporated milk
    1 pkg. (small) marshmallows
    1/8 lb. margarine
    3/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix butter, cream and sugar in heavy saucepan.
    Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
    Continue boiling over medium heat until 234\u00b0, or makes a soft ball when dropped in cold water. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate, marshmallows and nuts until well blended.
    I stir while the pan is in cold water until it starts getting a little thick.
    Then I take it out and drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper or foil.
    This is usually ready to eat while still hot.
