Mom'S Mexican Wedding Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    6 heaping Tbsp. confectioners sugar
    2 c. flour, sifted
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 to 1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add flour, salt, nuts and vanilla. Form into 1-inch balls.
    Bake on an ungreased baking sheet in a 325\u00b0 oven until a very light brown (15 to 20 minutes).
    While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
    Let cool and roll again in confectioners sugar.
    These are very crisp and short.
    Store in a jar with a loose cover.
