Tea Ring - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
1 stick butter (1/4 lb.)
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 pkg. dry yeast
3 c. flour
Preparation

Stir milk, butter, sugar and salt in a saucepan until warm. Beat eggs very well, reserving 1 teaspoon for glaze.
Add eggs to milk mixture.
Add dry yeast and flour and mix well.
Let rise in warm place until double in bulk.
Knead on floured board.
Roll into rectangular shape and spread with butter.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Roll up; shape into a ring and place in greased 9-inch round pan.
Cut crisscross slits on top, about 1-inch deep.
Let rise until double.
Brush with reserved teaspoon of beaten egg.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Frost with almond glaze.
