Jalapeno Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. yellow corn meal
1 c. cream-style corn
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
2 finely chopped jalapenos
2 Tbsp. crisp bacon, chopped
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Pour into black iron skillet heated at 400\u00b0 with 2 tablespoons bacon drippings.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 425\u00b0.
