Coconut Cream Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    5 level Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. coconut
    3 c. milk
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    In double boiler, scald milk.
    Mix sugar, salt, cornstarch and egg yolks.
    Pour some of the milk into this mixture and beat good. Then add to scalding milk.
    Stir constantly; add vanilla.
    When thick, remove and cool.
    Sprinkle coconut in pie shell and add filling.
