Angel Food Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. water
3/8 tsp. salt
3 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1 small can crushed pineapple, well drained
3/4 c. pecans, cut fine
1 baked pie shell
Cool Whip
Preparation

Boil cornstarch, sugar and water until thick; add salt.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Slowly pour boiled mixture into egg whites, beating constantly.
Add vanilla and pineapple.
Pour into pie shell.
Top with Cool Whip and nuts.
