Lower Fat Spaghetti Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. spaghetti, uncooked
    1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
    3 egg whites
    Pam or Mazola spray
    8 oz. fat-free cottage cheese
    1/2 lb. 85% or leaner hamburger
    sliced onions, green pepper or mushrooms (as desired)
    1 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix, prepared as directed or 2 c. premixed
    1/4 c. shredded Mozzarella
Preparation
    Cook and drain pasta; remove 1 cup.
    Toss rest with Parmesan cheese and egg whites.
    Turn into sprayed 10-inch pie plate and press to form crust.
    Spread cottage cheese on top.
    Brown hamburger and drain well.
    Stir in 1 cup spaghetti and spaghetti sauce.
    Spoon meat over cottage cheese.
    Top with onions, peppers and mushrooms, as desired.
    Cover loosely with greased foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
    Bake 10 minutes longer, uncovered.
