Gooey Apple Pie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    3 cans apple pie filling
    3 large pkg. French vanilla instant pudding
    2 c. Cool Whip
    nuts (pecans)
    caramel topping
Preparation
    Prepare cake; put into 2 round pans.
    Bake.
    Cool.
    Mix pudding according to directions.
    Place cake layer on bottom of large punch bowl.
    Pour pudding mixture over 1st layer (1/2 of mixture).
    Add 2nd layer.
    Top with apple filling, Cool Whip and nuts.
    Let cool.
