Zucchini Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. zucchini squash
    1/2 lb. sausage
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 tsp. ground thyme
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cubed cheese
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Wash squash; trim off ends.
    Cut in chunks and cook in boiling water for 10 minutes.
    Use small squash, not over 2 pounds.
    After cooking, drain squash.
    Put onion and sausage in skillet and cook until sausage is brown.
    Drain off fat.
    Use a little of the fat to oil casserole dish.
    Combine squash, sausage, crumbs, beaten eggs, thyme, salt and half of cheese.
    Put mixture in shallow baking dish.
    Sprinkle with remaining cheese on top.
    Bake 30 to 40 minutes.
