Creamy Spinach And Carrot Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 c. chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 c. half and half
    10 3/4 oz. can chicken broth
    1 c. shredded carrots
    10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    pinch of nutmeg
Preparation
    In 2-quart saucepan, melt butter.
    Add onions.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until onions are tender.
    Stir in flour until smooth and bubbly.
    Stir in half and half and chicken broth.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Continue cooking over low heat, stirring occasionally until soup is heated thoroughly, 12 to 15 minutes.
