Ingredients

1/4 c. sugar
1/2 envelope strawberry gelatin (1 1/2 tsp.)
1 1/2 c. water
1 bag frozen strawberries, thawed
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

In saucepan, combine sugar and gelatin; stir in 1 cup of water.
Heat and stir over medium heat until sugar and gelatin dissolve.
Remove from heat; add remaining water, berries and lemon juice.
Freeze in container until firm.
Break into chunks. Beat with electric mixer until smooth.
Return to container; freeze firm.
Let stand at room temperature 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
