Fruit Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. rum flavoring
    3 tsp. soda in 3 Tbsp. sweet milk
    1 lb. dates, chopped
    1 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
    1 lb. candied cherries, cut
    1 1/4 c. raisins
    6 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. flour (plain)
Preparation
    Mix fruits and nuts with 1 cup of the flour.
    Set aside.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, fruit and nuts.
    Add flour, soda and sweet milk with cinnamon.
    Mix well and drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 oven.
    Do not overcook.
    Can freeze before or after baking.
    Makes approximately 100 cookies. These mellow with age.
