Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 cube butter/margarine
4 Tbsp. cocoa (unsweetened)
1/2 c. quick oats
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter (optional)
Preparation

Boil sugar, milk, butter and cocoa for 1 1/2 minutes.
Start timer when mixture reaches full boil.
Remove from heat.
Add peanut butter, oats and vanilla.
Mix well; spoon mixture onto wax papered cookie sheets.
Refrigerate until firm.
