Fettuccine Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (12 oz.) fettuccine noodles
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. light cream or Half and Half
    3/4 c. grated Locatelli cheese (recommended, can substitute with Parmesan cheese)
    1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley (optional)
Preparation
    Cook pasta as directed on package, drain.
    Meanwhile cook and stir remaining ingredients, except parsley, in medium saucepan until hot; pour sauce over hot pasta and toss to coat well.
    Serve with parsley and additional grated Locatelli (or Parmesan) cheese, if desired.
    Makes 6 servings.
