Pineapple Cream Cheese Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    9 oz. can crushed pineapple (juice and all)
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened at room temperature
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Blend the 1/3 cup sugar and cornstarch.
    Add the pineapple, juice and all.
    Cook, stirring until the mixture is thick and clear.
    Cool.
