Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 to 2 eggs
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. warm water
    flour
Preparation
    Crumble yeast.
    Add warm water (1/2 cup), salt and sugar, then egg and shortening and 2 cups water.
    Beat about 2 minutes.
    Add flour to make stiff batter and beat 3 minutes.
    Mix thoroughly. Place in greased bowl.
    Cover with two layers of wax paper.
    Place in coldest section of refrigerator.
