Peppered Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak
1 bell pepper
4 stalks celery
1/2 jar pimentos
1 can Campbell's consomme soup
1 onion
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
salt
1/4 lb. oleo
1 to 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation

Melt 1/4 pound oleo. Add steak which has been cut in strips. Add sliced onions, bell pepper and celery. Cook for a few minutes. Add soup and soy sauce. Add pimento and salt to taste.
Simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Add cornstarch if not thick enough.
Serve over potatoes or rice.
