Kidney Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 medium bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. (heaped) brown sugar
    2 regular size cans red kidney beans
Preparation
    In heavy skillet, brown hamburger with garlic and bell pepper; drain off all fat.
    Add cheese (reserve 1/2 cup), tomato sauce and brown sugar.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Add kidney beans, drained. Place in 1 1/2-quart casserole; sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheese. Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
