Ingredients

1 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light.
Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients; stir in nuts.
Add to creamed mixture.
Using teaspoon, drop on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
Yields approximately 4 dozen.
One cup chocolate chips may be added (optional).
