Baked Duck With Mushroom Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 mallard duck
    1 large onion, sliced into chunks
    1 envelope French onion dry soup mix
    2 c. brown rice
    2 small cans mushroom
    1 can French onion soup
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Pick and wash duck thoroughly.
    Rub 1/2 dry soup mix inside duck.
    Stuff onion inside duck.
    Rub rest of soup mix on outside of duck.
    Lay duck on heavy-duty tinfoil and cover.
    Place in pan and bake slowly (approximately 300\u00b0) until duck is tender (2 to 3 hours).
    Approximately 1 hour before duck is done, combine mushrooms, rice and soup in baking dish and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    When duck is cool, remove meat from bone and add to rice mixture.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Return to oven for approximately 15 minutes to combine flavors.
