Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cream butter and brown sugar.
    Add vanilla and eggs, mixing well.
    Combine flour, sugar and salt.
    Stir dry ingredients and nuts into sugar mixture until well combined.
    Spread in prepared pan.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool; sprinkle with powdered sugar. Makes 24 squares.
