Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond flavoring
4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
10 to 12 butter brickle bars or Heath candy bars, crushed until coarse chunks
Preparation

Cream together sugars and butter.
Add eggs, vanilla and almond flavoring to creamed mixture; beat well.
Sift together flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt; add to mixture.
Add crushed candy bars to dough mixture.
Shape in rolls and wrap each in wax paper.
Chill overnight.
Cut in 1/8-inch slices and bake at 350\u00b0 about 7 minutes.
Makes about 12 dozen.
