Chinese Beef And Pea Pods - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak or beef, cut into 1-inch slices
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. cooking sherry (optional)
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 pkg. frozen pea pods
    2 cloves garlic
    oil
Preparation
    Marinate meat in mixture of salt, sugar, soy sauce, sherry and cornstarch.
    Put 1 tablespoon oil in frypan and stir-fry pea pods in hot pan for 2 minutes.
    Remove pea pods.
    Add another tablespoon oil to pan and heat garlic for 2 minutes, then add pea pods and blend together.
    Serve over rice.
