Dilly Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast or 1 cake yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 c. cream cheese, softened
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. dill seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 unbeaten egg
    2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Soften yeast in warm water.
    Combine in mixing bowl cream cheese, sugar, minced onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda, unbeaten egg and softened yeast.
    Add flour to form a stiff dough. Beat well after each addition; cover.
    Let rise in warm place (85\u00b0 to 90\u00b0) until light and doubled in size.
    Usually it takes 50 to 60 minutes.
    Stir down dough.
    Turn onto well greased 8-inch round 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish.
    Let rise in warm place until light, 30 to 40 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes until golden brown.
    Brush with soft butter and sprinkle with salt.
