Toad In The Hole - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. sausage links
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk

Preparation

On washday, we had navy bean soup, cooked with our own country ham.
Mother did the laundry, and our responsibility was to have dinner ready when she came in and Daddy came in from the field to eat.
We often had mustard greens, alongside, that had been canned.
