Ingredients

1 can beets
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. beet juice
1/4 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix all ingredients, except beets and butter.
Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Add beets and butter.
Cook a few minutes longer.
