Hot Hominy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 large onions, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 cans white hominy, drained (14 oz.)
    1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes, peeled
    1 lb. cooked sausage, hot or mild
    salt and pepper to taste
    dash of Worcestershire sauce
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    red pepper for extra taste (optional)
Preparation
    Fry sausage and crumble or brown like ground
    meat.
    Saute onions and pepper in butter.
    Add all other ingredients except cheese and simmer 20 minutes.
    In buttered casserole dish, alternate layers of hominy mixture and cheese, ending with cheese. Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
