Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. coarsely chopped apples
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Combine apples and sugar; let stand 1 to 2 hours.
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Mix together the eggs, oil, sugar and apples.
    Sift dry ingredients; add to first mixture.
    Add walnuts and raisins. Batter is thick and makes a large 13 x 9-inch cake.
    Grease pan and pour batter in.
    Bake for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
    You may serve with whipped cream.
