*Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 egg
3 Tbsp. shortening
1/4 c. orange juice
1 c. fresh cranberries, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Add boiling water to shortening to make 3/4 cup.
Pour into dry ingredients and mix well.
Add egg and juice and mix again.
Add cranberries and nuts and mix well.
Bake for 1 hour in 325\u00b0 oven in a greased and floured 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan.
