King Ranch Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 chicken breasts (halves)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 medium onion
    1/2 large green bell pepper
    1 tsp. chili powder
    garlic powder to taste
    1 (10 oz.) can Ro-Tel diced tomatoes and green chilies
    grated Cheddar cheese
    3 to 5 corn tortillas
Preparation
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Cook chicken in boiling water. After cooled, cut into bite size pieces.
    Mix soups, chicken, onion, bell pepper and chili powder together in a bowl.
    Soften tortillas and cut into bite size pieces (soften in microwave or in the broth the chicken was boiled in).
    Put one layer of tortillas on bottom of casserole dish; then pour soup mixture over that. Sprinkle with garlic powder and pour full can of Ro-Tel tomatoes on top.
    Top with Cheddar cheese.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 35 to 45 minutes.
    This dish freezes well.
