Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. water
2 c. sifted enriched flour
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Thoroughly cream butter, sugar and vanilla.
Stir in water. Add flour and mix well.
Stir in nuts.
Shape into 1-inch balls. Bake 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet at 300\u00b0 about 20 minutes, or firm to touch.
Cool thoroughly before removing from pan.
Dip cookies in confectioners frosting and roll in tinted coconut.
Makes 4 dozen.
