"Gooey" Butter Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (17 oz.) box pound cake mix
1 c. butter, melted
4 eggs
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (1 lb.) box confectioners sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine cake mix, butter and 2 eggs, stirring until well blended.
Beat 1 minute.
Spread batter in a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Beat in remaining 2 eggs and then vanilla.
Set aside 1/2 cup or less confectioners sugar.
Beat in remaining confectioners sugar.
Pour evenly over cake batter in pan. Sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes, or until cake pulls away from sides of pan.
Cool 20 minutes; sprinkle with some or all of the remaining sugar, as preferred.
