Joyce'S Maids Of Honor - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. short pastry
    2 oz. margarine
    2 oz. caster sugar
    2 oz. self-rising flour
    1 egg
    jam
Preparation
    Roll out the pastry thinly and cut in rounds.
    Line 16 to 18 patty tins.
    Place a little jam in each.
    Cream margarine and sugar; fold in beaten egg and flour.
    Place small spoonfuls in each pastry case.
    Bake in oven at 200\u00b0C or 400\u00b0F for about 15 minutes.
