Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Crisco oil
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. molasses
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. hot water
2 c. plain flour
pinch of salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

Cream oil and sugar; add eggs and blend in molasses.
Dissolve soda in hot water; add to mixture.
Sift flour, salt and spices; add to creamed mixture.
Add boiling water.
Bake in greased 13 x 9 1/2-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 55 minutes.
