Vogelpahl Ice Cream Recipe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 qt. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 can Pet, Carnation or Cost Cutter evaporated milk
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Mix egg yolks, sugar and 1 quart of milk together in a large bowl.
    Add vanilla, can of milk and salt.
    In another bowl, whip egg whites until foamy.
    Add egg whites to egg yolk mixture.
    Pour into freezer can and add more milk until it reaches the fill line mark on can.
    Now you are ready!
    Makes 1 gallon.
