Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. chopped dates
2 eggs, slightly beaten
pinch of salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation

Put sugar, dates and eggs in lightly buttered skillet (deep iron frying pan is great).
Simmer at low heat for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add nuts, salt and Rice Krispies.
Stir. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
With buttered fingers, form in 1-inch balls and roll in coconut, nuts, powdered sugar, etc.
