Asparagus Vinaigrette - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 spears fresh asparagus or 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen
    1/3 c. olive oil or vegetable oil
    3 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. basil, crushed
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    dash of sugar
Preparation
    Blanch cook fresh asparagus until crisp-tender and rinse under cold water.
    If using frozen spears, thaw and drain well.
