Beef Burgundy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. lean meat (round steak or chuck arm round bone or sirloin tip)
    2 or 3 cans golden cream of mushroom soup
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup
    1 c. sherry (cooking wine)
Preparation
    Add one can to start of water.
    Add water when needed.
    Keep covered.
    Cook at 325\u00b0 for 3 1/2 hours.
    Twenty minutes before serving, add 1 pound mushrooms, fresh.
