Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns
    1 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. onion, cut fine
    1 pt. sour cream
    10 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix together and place in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix together 2 cups crushed corn flakes and 1/4 cup melted butter.
    Mix butter and cornflakes and put on top of the potato mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 12.
    This is a perfect party make ahead casserole.
