Hamburger Corn Bread Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
salt to taste
1 pkg. corn bread mix
1 can (17 oz.) cream-style corn
1 egg
1 large onion, chopped
1 can (7 oz.) green chiles, chopped
8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation

Brown ground beef, salt and drain.
Do not prepare corn bread according to package instructions.
Instead, combine the dry corn bread ingredients with the can of corn and the egg.
Pour half of this batter into buttered casserole.
Top with ground beef; add onion, chiles and cheese.
Pour remaining batter over meat and vegetables.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes, until lightly browned on top.
Serves 8.
