Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. peanuts or almonds
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Put sugar and syrup in 2-quart measuring cup.
    Cook 4 minutes on High.
    Add vanilla and butter.
    Cook 1 1/2 minutes.
    Stir in soda.
    Pour on a buttered cookie sheet.
    Spread thin or leave fairly thick if you like it foamy.
    Work fast as it sets up in a hurry.
